In a small city nestled between Laguna Beach and Laguna Hills, many car fanatics gather for a meet known as Cars & Coffee Aliso Viejo.
C&C Aliso Viejo is basically a car museum opened to the public. C&C consistently happens every Saturday at 7:00am. If you don’t mind waking up early in the morning to make your way to Aliso Viejo Town Center, you’ll see a nice blend of classic cars, supercars and oddly enough, a lot of jeeps. This meet takes up a good percentage of the parking lot so try to get there as early as you can.
As I ducked in between cars to take pictures, I could over hear the crowds of people talking about engine displacement and wheel size. I noticed a nice eclectic mix of cars. With the median income in this area around $90,000, you’re going to see more than a few Lamborghinis and Ferraris, but, you’re also going to see many American muscle cars, Mustangs, Chargers, Challengers and Corvettes (new school and old school). All the cars are done up to the tits with superchargers and fatty tires to push them loud and hard. Yet, in the same parking lot, there’s a 1963 Ferrari 400 Superamerica driving around valued at 5 million dollars. Don’t back into this car or else you will have to sell your new born. This meet is a must see. I loved watching an old man with his walking cane admire a Honda on bags. I also loved over hearing a little boy asking his dad about a carburetor.
